'm in snowy
chicago. Actually it is very pretty outside and not windy. The kids are cute. My plane came in 40 minutes early and it was a smooth flight. i took the tain and bus to Yaakov and it onlly cost $2.50. It was nice walk from the bus dragging my wheelie in teh snow. It is cold but it was sunny and not windy so it wan't too bad. Good Shabbos.

NY trip 2011

Can anyone guess where we are?

Thanks Doda for many delicious meals.
Us walking around the city on Jan. 1st. The streets were pretty empty, except for tons of frum Jews.
Times Square- amongst the thousands of tourists. Thanks to our new L.L. Bean coats we were soo warm!
Us ice skating in Philly. Scott's actually really good at it.

Happy New Year

I had a very nice Shabbos with Miriam and Scott. They invited themselves for Shabbos. Remember, everyone has an open invite. Lunch was a reunion for Scott with a former Israel Yeshiva friend of his wo happens ro be the son of friends. He came with his wife and sister (my sister) their sister is in Darchei Bina with Naomi. At night, Malka (Moskowitz) and Yitzi went out with Miriam and Scott and I babysat for their 6 month old. Yaakov - I now have rcent experience.
Sunday, I went into the city with them and then went shopping. So it turned out to be a happy New Year except for the sad news of Aunt Ida's passing.
