A Letter for Abba (Everyone else, skip to the next post)

Dear Abba,

Until I became a father, I never realized how much you taught me about how to raise a son. I have found that everything I do with Akiva, from baby talk to cute nicknames, singing and the "ah-ooo" trick , I learned from you. And when I picture us in the future, everything I think of doing with him - teaching him to swim, learning chumash, navi, and mishnayos, making him mow the lawn, building Succah - all of these are experiences that stick out vividly in mind because of the love and dedication that you invested in them when doing them with me.

Love,
Yaakov

  1. Aww Yaakov, your post made me cry! You know e-mail does still exist, if you really wanted that to be private. Happy fathers day to you and abba!
