Street Cleaning
I got a parking ticket today for being on the wrong side of the street during street cleaning. It was only twenty minutes after it started and fifteen minutes before Mindy reminded me that there was street cleaning today which is when I actually moved it. It was only twenty dollars, but its still ridiculous. On the bright side, if this had happened earlier, I might not have had the new license plate sticker on yet, and I could have been really busted for having an expired one. So thanks, Abba!

Sorry to hear that you got your first parking ticket. In NY I think it starts at $65. If you park in a no Standing Zone it is $125. Thre is a no standing zone just around the corner from me and a no Parking on my corner. Over here, where I work there is street sweeping 4 days a week and they ticket you 5 minutes after.
