Bepop Marketing

It's been such a long time since I've posted anything. I need to catch you up on the Israel trip, the concert, the CD, the engagement. Been real busy.

Truth is-most on my mind is the sales of the CD & how to go about it.

I recall that when I was a kid, my Grandfather (Bepop) used to tell me stories of when he was in the wholesale toy business. One time he bought a truckload of some kind of toy or game that when you rubbed it off there was something underneath it. I guess like a lottery ticket kind of thing. So he was stuck with all this merchandise.

So he would go to a park where kids were hanging out. He would give a few kids a nickel to go into the nearby toy store & ask for this item, which of course the store didn't have yet.

Then after a few kids would do that, he would walk in with that item to sell. The storekeeper, thinking there was this huge demand, would want to buy a lot of it.

So perhaps get all your friends & neighbors to go into your neighborhood Judaica store & ask for it.

Then you go in & offer it to them.

Meanwhile as I type this I just got such a nice phone call from a woman who is a volunteer Ombudsman with me & who bought the CD. She is a Lebanese Armenian. Her favorite song is Shaalu. Her 17 month old granddaughter keeps asking for that song. She asked me to send her the sheet music with the words.

  1. I didn't know you are an ombudsman. Have you tried contacting Nachum Siegel? Send him a CD to play and interview you.
