WOW! The notes from the kosel reminded me of a funny story that happened in my hebrew school class. I was talking to them about Shabbos and observing shabbos, and even in Israel after shabbos the buses that pick people up from the kotel don't punch your tickets because they don't expect you to bring your bus tickets on Shabbos . So several students hands shot up very frazzled. They all had the same question.. "If your going to the kotel on Shabbos than their must be a heter to bring a pen... how can you write a note in the wall if your not aloud to write on Shabbos?"
