This is Also Snow

There is not so much buildup on top of the the car because of all the wind, but there is like 3 feet by that house and the fence in the back yard. (No one lives in that house.)

Anyway, I was going to go to work today, but Mindy and Imma convinced me not to.

We are up to 19.5 inches and still going. More updates later since I have nothing better to do today.

Nice Shabbos

We had a very nice Shabbos here. The mother of a friend of mine was visiting town and we had them over for Shabbos. (He lives in the dorm at Skokie Yeshiva.) It was a big challenge getting the house ready with Akiva doing his best to make sure we couldn't get anything done, but we managed it. Also, we all had colds for much of the week, so that didn't make it any easier. But in the end it turned out really nice, and we are very glad we had them.

If anybody wants us to ship them some leftovers, let us know.

This is Snow

snow day

We have another snow day today. My street is clear and passable because a front end loader came through around 3:30am and piled the snow at the corner in about a 15ft mound. I will probably go out later and clear off the car which is buired in. The NYC buses are not running yet. But it does look pretty out there.

phone working

I don't know when my phone service was restored because when I found out it wasn't working, Iunplugged it from the wall jack and plugged in another phone. I forgot to replug in my phone until tonight when I wanted to test it again. But since nobody called me on my cell, I guess nobody has anything to talk to me about.

no home phone

My home phone is out of order for the passed couple of days. It might not get fixed until early next week. It is cable that is broken so it is not just my phone. If by some chance any of you need or want to talk to me, please call me on my cell.

silver spring news

Last Thursday night, Lisa received her pin for becoming a NBCT (National Board Certified Teacher). It was very nice being there to share in this very prestigious achievement.

Also, the family went snowtubing today. We had a great time.
